Black beach was pretty amazing! It is a segment of the shoreline where the beach is black but as the waves wash up, you see regular sand as well.

We spent the morning exploring Mosquito Pier. Evidently, this pier was built in anticipation of cruise ships coming into Vieques. Unfortunately, it has never been used for that.
It is now mainly used for people to scuba dive, snorkel, and fishing. We snorkeled and actually saw some fish and coral. Jim, John, Clay, and Jean snorkeled up under the pier and said there was much more to see.
After we walked to the end of the pier and enjoyed the beauty of the blue - green water.
Driving down the road, you don’t normally expect to see a horse but here - Horses everywhere!
