Eagle Rays – Travel with the Tades

The day starts again with snorkeling and diving. This time we are at Blue Channel. I had Sierra as my snorkel guide again and prior to getting in the water she said to me, “If we are lucky we may see some eagle rays here.” As soon as the divers got in the water Francesca said, “There are two Eagle Rays, right here!” I jumped into the water and Jim was already below the water with his GoPro.

These guys lingered here a long time and they were mesmerizing to watch. We saw a barracuda and tons of beautiful coral and fish. After lunch we again went to the grocery store to stock up on essentials. Then we took a walk along the shore down to West Bay. It required going by Gumbalimba Park. It is an “eco-park” that looks very touristy. It was closed but we had to climb a bridge to get over a trench they have for big boats to come in.

The walk down to West Bay was not far and it was full of small resorts for families. We saw lots of kids in the water really enjoying themselves.

After walking to West Bay we decided to walk toward West End. This little restaurant is on Clearwater Beach. And has a lovely view of the water.

Getting ready to capture the sunset.

We had a drink and a seafood platter and enjoyed the views below!
